Skin Checks

A thorough clinical assessment of a skin lesion or area of concern, carried out by Dr Deepmala using her NHS dermatology expertise. If you have noticed a mole, lesion, or mark that has changed in size, shape, or colour, or one that is new and unfamiliar, a skin check with a qualified dermatologist provides proper clinical assessment and peace of mind.

Single lesion assessments are available, with additional lesions assessed at the same appointment if required.

Skin Lesion Removal

Dr Deepmala offers clinical removal of a range of benign skin lesions, carried out with the precision and aftercare standards of a medically led practice.

Skin Tags — Small, soft growths that commonly appear on the neck, underarms, and areas of skin friction. Removed quickly and cleanly with minimal discomfort.

Seborrhoeic Keratosis — Benign warty growths that become increasingly common with age. Clinically assessed and removed where appropriate.

Warts — Viral skin growths treated and removed under clinical assessment.

Milia — Small, hard white cysts that form beneath the skin surface, commonly around the eye area and cheeks. Carefully extracted in a clinical setting.

Sebaceous Hyperplasia — Enlarged sebaceous glands that appear as small yellowish bumps, most commonly on the forehead and cheeks. Assessed and treated by Dr Deepmala.

Dermal Naevus — A raised mole or skin-coloured growth assessed and removed where clinically appropriate.

Why See a Dermatologist for Lesion Removal?

Skin lesion removal is widely available in beauty and aesthetics settings — but not all providers have the clinical training to properly assess what they are removing. Dr Deepmala’s NHS dermatology background means that every lesion is clinically assessed before any removal takes place. If a lesion requires further investigation rather than removal, Dr Deepmala will tell you — and advise on the appropriate next step. That level of clinical judgement is what sets Dermabode apart.
